Medmarc Life Sciences has appointed Cathie Speakman to the underwriting team and will be located in Northern California to assist brokers and policyholders.
In her new role, Speakman will be dedicated to servicing California, Oregon, and Washington and will contribute to the growth in that region.
Chief Underwriting Officer Francis Stockwell said: "Cathie will fit in well with the rest of our veteran industry experts and she has demonstrated the deep knowledge that our brokers and policyholders have come to expect from us."
Life Sciences Underwriting director John Ajello said: "She is the right candidate to expand Medmarc’s presence on the West Coast and advance our growth initiatives."
Speakman served Life Sciences Practices of both CNA Insurance and Chubb Insurance in senior underwriting positions.
