To build a book of middle market business that fits neatly between the large accounts and the smaller accounts
Max Capital Group has appointed Timothy Rowan as senior vice president of professional liability for Max Managers USA, a managing general underwriter principally for Max Specialty Insurance Company.
Mr Rowan served as an underwriter for Beazley Group since 2005, where he was responsible for managing and growing a book of large and mid-sized law firm E&O accounts. Prior to this from 2000 to 2005, he served as senior vice president of Marsh’s Financial and Professional Services Practice (FINPRO), where he placed D&O, E&O and related lines for multinational accounts.
Previously, he was assistant vice president at Chubb & Son. He has also practiced as an insurance attorney with Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker and with Fraterrigo, Best & Beranek.
Marston (Marty) Becker, chairman and CEO of Max Capital, said: Tim is an important addition to our team.
