Markel American Insurance Company has unveiled its new Manufactured Home Program, which includes equipment breakdown coverage option and manages the program on the MAGIC system.
In addition, the enhanced program also covers builder’s risk endorsement that provides coverage for loss to site improvements prior to delivery of manufactured home; incidental farming extends coverage for private, not-for-profit farming on residence premises; and identity fraud, an optional coverage that provides reimbursement for expenses related to ‘clean-up’ associated with identity fraud.
According to Markel, the new program is managed on its web-based policy administration system MAGIC, which utilizes internet to provide efficiency for the company’s agents in managing Manufactured Home policies.
Markel American Insurance Company provides specialty property, recreational vehicle, and wedding/private event insurance. It is a subsidiary of the Richmond, Virginia based Markel which markets and underwrites specialty insurance products and programs to a variety of niche markets.
