Insurance broker Lockton has expanded its Washington, DC retirement practice with the addition of Travis Dutton.

In this new role, Dutton will advise companies on retirement plans such as 401(K)s and 409A executive deferred compensation plans as well as executive benefit strategies.

Dutton brings experience in retirement plan and investment consulting tactics for companies, including qualified, nonqualified and institutional portfolio management.

Prior to joining Lockton, Dutton served as regional vice president at Principal Financial Group in Bethesda, where he consulted in retirement plan design, implementation and administration of deferred compensation strategies.

He also served as vice president at Columbia Management Group in Boston and Fidelity Investments in Atlanta.

Lockton Companies’ Washington DC president Bob Connolly said expanding Lockton’s retirement plan practice to include 409A and executive benefits expertise is a crucial step towards offering clients a holistic view of total rewards offered by employers to attract and retain their workforce.
