Lincoln Financial Group has appointed Charlie Armstrong as the new vice president of brand management, who will report to chief marketing officer Heather Dzielak.

In his new role, Armstrong will direct overall brand strategy for the company to enhance its business and capitalize on its efficient product offerings and distribution model.

Most recently, Armstrong was the senior director of advertising and global branding at AIG, and prior to that he was a senior partner at Ogilvy and Mather, where he led the agency team working the AIG account.

Dzielak said that the company is pleased to leverage Charlie’s extensive experience as a creative strategist to take its brand program to new heights.
