Lincoln Financial Group's (LNC) Retirement Plan Services business has been selected by Presence Health, the largest Catholic healthcare system, as the provider for its 403(b), 401(k), 401(a) and defined benefit employer-sponsored retirement plan program in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Presence Health includes more than 21,000 employees with more than $800 million in plan assets. Lincoln was the retirement plan provider for Provena Health, which merged with Resurrection Health Care to form Presence Health in November 2011.

"We strive to provide our employees with benefits, education and resources that will help them best prepare for retirement," said Paul Skiem, Chief Human Resources Officer, Presence Health. "With Lincoln’s knowledge of our organization and the healthcare industry, we are well-positioned to provide a dynamic program that will help motivate our participants to plan and save for their future."

Lincoln Financial’s offering to Presence Health includes participant retirement education and communications resources designed to proactively help plan participants with all aspects of retirement planning.

This includes a combination of custom communications content, products, services, and one-on-one education support delivered online, by phone and in person through Lincoln Retirement Consultants.

"We are honored that Presence Health chose Lincoln as its employer-sponsored retirement plan provider and are pleased to build on our successful partnership with Provena Health," said Chuck Cornelio, President, Retirement Plan Services, Lincoln Financial Group. "We have a deep understanding of the organization’s needs and are committed to boosting the retirement readiness of all Presence Health retirement plan participants. This win also reinforces our position as a top retirement plan provider in the healthcare sector."
