Liberty Mutual Insurance, a leading global property and casualty insurer, announced today that Viji Rangaswami will join the company's Public Affairs office in Washington, D.C., by the end of the month as Vice President of Federal Affairs, focusing on international issues.
Ms. Rangaswami brings extensive federal and international public affairs experience to Liberty Mutual, having spent over 12 years working for the U.S. House of Representative’s Committee on Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee where she was Staff Director from 2009-2012.
"Viji’s extensive involvement in international trade matters will strengthen Liberty’s ability to engage on a wide range of international issues, including market access and regulatory initiatives," said Senior Vice President and Chief Public Affairs Officer Paul Mattera. "She will add to an already strong Public Affairs team." Liberty Mutual Insurance is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and has operations in 29 countries worldwide.
