Legal & General has signed an agreement to sell its Essentials and Extra home insurance policies through TescoCompare.com starting in June 2013.
Under the agreement, TescoCompare.com will be part of the Legal & General’s home insurance panel.
Legal & General direct general insurance business director Mike Lawler said, "We understand that Tesco Compare customers all have very different requirements and want to be able to choose home insurance cover that actually suits their particular needs.
"Essentials and Extra provides TescoCompare.com customers with the choice to arrange home insurance that offers fundamental or more comprehensive cover, if that is what is needed," Lawler added.
Legal & General currently works with comparethemarket.com, confused.com, gocompare.com, and moneysupermarket.com.
TescoCompare.com compares products across insurance, money, utilities and holidays.
