Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates has appointed John Stege as the new vice president and broker for the employee benefits division of the company.
Stege has around 11 years experience in providing customized professional third party administration services in the group insurance and employee health and welfare plan marketplace.
Initially responsible for the recruitment of municipalities, school districts and other Joint Powers Authorities in California, Stege rose to the levels of director of sales and vice president of sales with Superior Administrators, a Santa Ana, California-based TPA.
Subsequently, Stege was recruited to a new start-up community bank in the San Francisco Bay area. At Global Trust Bank, he was responsible for all new business development as the bank grew in both asset size and customer base.
