Reinsurance broker JLT Re has expanded its existing capabilities in Central and Eastern Europe with the appointments of Guy Hudson as new partner and Russell Henwood as associate.

Hudson’s has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. His previous appointments include Jauch & Huebner, where he held the position of director, followed by Heath Lambert and later Willis, where he was executive director, responsible for producing and placing reinsurance programs on behalf of Central and Eastern European insurers.

Russell Henwood will join with more than 30 years of reinsurance experience providing technical advice to clients based in Central and Eastern Europe. Henwood will join JLT from Willis where he was divisional director in the reinsurance division.

Prior to Willis, Henwood worked for the reinsurance arm of Heath Lambert and its predecessor companies for over 25 years.

JLT Re member of the board Bradley Maltese said both these practitioners have joined JLT Re’s non-marine treaty team and whilst building on the European Practice they will also broaden the international reinsurance offering as JLT continue to expand.
