JLT Specialty (JLT) has appointed Elizabeth Day to serve as global insurance broker at its recently opened office in Nottingham.
Day in her new role as business development co-ordinator will manage client relationships and deal with insurers in addition to supervising back office administration.
JLT Specialty partner Sally Swann said that the appointment follows the recent acquisition of Nicholl Food Packaging and SMS Electronics.
"These businesses are global leaders in their respective industry sectors and by appointing Elizabeth we will ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional level of service quality and expert insurance and risk management advice," Swann added.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Elizabeth served Cornhill Insurance as the head of the Property Underwriting division.
Elizabeth also held service with Bland Bankart (now known as Oval) and Towergate Insurance in various senior positions related to account management and compliance fields.
Serving as a specialist insurance broker and risk consultant, JLT currently operates seven offices in UK and provides services in food and drink, lifesciences, construction and the professional services sectors.
