On lines similar to the construction practice group launched successfully eight years ago, London-based broker JLT Specialty has formed a new European real estate practice group.

JLT said that its real estate experts will team up with network partners throughout Europe following the formation of a new group.

JLT believes that the newly created practice group will help the group provide clients with a better understanding of the different insurance and legal regimes across the continent.

JLT European Real Estate partner Bill Gloyn said the new practice Group will allow services to all the existing clients around Europe by improving the understanding of the very different insurance and legal regimes in those territories.

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group international chairman Mark Drummond-Brady said JLT values the diverse relationships they have throughout the continent and they welcome the opportunity to export specialty skills and experience to partners – whilst still respecting the local and independent relationships that their partners have with their clients.
