Insurance brokerage and risk management firm Integro has acquired Lloyd’s of London insurance broker, Ellis Clowes.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Ellis Clowes provides motor sport and commercial insurance products, as well as hostile territories and bespoke insurance services for high net worth clients.
The broker also provides a spectrum of insurance products across other global sports such as golf, tennis, rugby and professional cycling.
According to Integro, the Lloyd’s broker also offers insurance solutions to the customers in the conflict and security sector, marine and aviation.
Ellis Clowes CEO Karen Ellis said: "When Integro approached us, we recognized that their culture and plans would accelerate our growth, particularly in the US.
"The fact that Integro has a complementary hostile territories and security team strengthens our joint position as a market leader in this sector."
Earlier this month, Odyssey Investment Partners completed the acquisition of Integro, which provides insurance and reinsurance services in the US, Canada, Bermuda and the UK, through its subsidiaries.
In August this year, Integro acquired London-based managing general agent (MGA) Entertainment Risk Management (ERM), which offers services to brokers specializing in the film and television media industry.
