ING has appointment Delfin Rueda and Dorothee van Vredenburch as members of the Management Board Insurance EurAsia (MBE), effective from 1 November 2012.

As a chief financial officer (CFO) within the MBE, Rueda will be responsible for all operational and business-related Finance activities for Insurance and Investment Management (insurance/IM) EurAsia.

Rueda has 20 years of experience in banking and insurance in Europe and served in various positions at Atradius, JP Morgan, and UBS.

In her new role, Vredenburch will be responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Development, Communications and Sustainability for insurance/IM Eurasia.

Since joining ING Insurance in 2009, she has served as the managing director of Corporate Communications & Affairs and was also responsible for human resources.

Vredenburch also worked at ABN Amro, SBC and Carnegie as an investment analyst and is the founder of First Financial Communications.

ING Group CEO Jan Hommen said that new members will assist the company in preparing European insurance and investment management operations for the base case of an IPO.

MBE member and chief administrative officer Matt Rider will step down on 31 December 2012 and will work with Rueda to ensure transition of duties, while remaining as advisor until March 2013.
