ICICI Prudential Life insurance (ICICI Prudential) has snapped ties with TTK Healthcare Services, a third-party administrator (TPA) that was managing health insurance claims for the company – reported Indian Express

Poonam Bhardwaj, Head, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Product, said: “There was a lot of dependency on the TPA. While we took initiatives to improvise the customer service experience, it was not getting reflected with the customers. Our efforts were being eclipsed by the working style of the TPA. This forced us to take a look at the model again and design something wherein we take charge of the process.
ICICI Prudential is a UK-based joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential, and is engaged in the business of life insurance in India.
