US-based Hub International has acquired assets of insurance brokerage firm Kuykendall Gardner, for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 1953, Kuykendall offers services in Central Florida region.

Kuykendall Gardner president Jack Kuykendall said: "We will continue to maintain our strong local presence and team while using the Hub platform to target larger prospects that were previously outside of our range."

The acquired firm will be included in the Hub Southeast operations, and will help in the expansion of firm’s current business in the region.

President Jack Kuykendall will serve as chairman for Hub’s Florida operations, while Chris Gardner will be appointed as CEO.
Both of them will report to Hub Southeast CEO Mike Chapman.

Hub Southeast CEO Mike Chapman said the company is adding Chris and Jack to leadership team.

"They bring a tremendous group of talented employees, excellent customers, and strong expertise in many key areas, along with an outstanding reputation with our insurance carrier partners," Chapman added.

Hub offers property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services in the US, Canada and Latin America.
