US-based insurance brokerage firm Hub International has purchased Brown Agency for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Kenai of Alaska, Brown is a multi-line agency, which offers commercial and personal insurance services and employee benefit products.
Brown Agency principal Doug Brown will join Hub Northwest and report to its senior vice president Steve Wagner.
Hub has also acquired the assets of EmSpring for an undisclosed amount.
EmSpring, which has operations in Yakima, Bellevue, and Spokane of Washington, is specialized in offering employee benefits solutions.
EmSpring CEO Dan Fisher and president Ed Haines will join Hub Northwest and report to its employee benefits practice leader Tim Kennedy.
Based in Chicago, Hub offers property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services across North America.
