Hub International Limited (Hub), a US-based insurance brokerage company, has completed acquisition of the assets of Benefit Concepts for an undisclosed amount.
Benefit Concepts, a Louisiana-based employee benefits brokerage firm, will now function with the Texas operations of Hub International Insurance Services (Hub Texas) as part of the acquisition, which expands the latter’s footprint and employee benefits capabilities.
EBI principal Troy Davis will also join Hub, and will report to the company’s Texas president and CEO Jack McGrath.
McGrath said BCI has a significant practice for voluntary benefits that will also benefit many of the company’s existing customers.
”This transaction will provide Hub with the opportunity to serve BCI’s customers and offer them the many products of a global, full service brokerage,” McGrath added.
BCI is a provider of employee benefits programs for middle market businesses, with expertise in many areas including voluntary and self-funded programs.
