Hub International, a global insurance brokerage firm, has acquired two insurance brokers, Baldrica & Company and The Tammariello Group.
Baldrica & Company is a Colorado-based full-service insurance brokerage firm and Tammariello Group is a commercial brokerage based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Hub International Insurance Services purchased Baldrica & Co which will operate as a part of the company’s existing Colorado Springs office.
The takeover of Baldrica, which offers property/casualty, employee benefits and personal insurance to businesses and individuals, will boost Hub’s footprint in the southern Colorado marketplace.
Under the terms of the transaction, Baldrica president Andrea Baldrica will join Hub Colorado as vice president.
Commenting on the acquisition, Hub Colorado president Matt Coleman said, "Andrea Baldrica has developed a very successful family agency in the Colorado market, and we are privileged to have her and her staff join the Hub team.
"Beyond the additional talent and expertise they will add to our team, particularly in the employee benefits consulting arena, Andrea represents the next generation of leadership in our industry."
Hub International Gulf South purchased Tammariello, and after completion of the transaction, the acquired entity will become part of Hub Gulf South’s Lafayette office.
Furthermore, Tammariello senior vice president Mark R Tammariello will join Hub Gulf South.
Tammariello provides property/casualty services with niche expertise in serving the insurance needs of the public entity and oil and gas industries, according to the statement.
