Horizon NJ Health has signed a contract with HealthTrans, a pharmacy benefits administrator, to provide claims management and reporting services for its more than 300,000 members, effective May 1, 2008. HealthTrans expects to process nearly three million claims annually.

HealthTrans’s processing and adjudication services allow clients the ability to take back control of their pharmacy claims processing, by utilizing HealthTrans existing tools, or to outsource the onerous day-to-day tasks of member enrollment, payment, patient care and card services.

HealthTrans said that its flexible claims management services ensure accurate, reliable, and real time processing and support is readily available to respond to needs.
