Hooper Holmes, a US-based provider of outsourced health risk assessment services, has introduced Life Application Processing Platform, a new service designed to help mid-sized brokers and financial advisors sell more life insurance.

Developed in partnership with IT providers, the new service is designed to complete applications for multiple life insurance companies.

Hooper Holmes said that the new platform leverages its service capabilities, including call centers, technology platforms, paramedical examiner network, and underwriting expertise.

By accessing iPipeline’s Velocity Platform, Hooper Holmes’ call center specialists will process applications using the iGO e-App solution.

Hooper Holmes senior vice president for life insurance Dan Dodson said that the platform provides complete case management.

"This platform is another example of our ability to creatively leverage the strengths of our services portfolio in response to marketplace needs," Dodson said.

Hooper Holmes operates in two divisions, Health Information and Claims Evaluation.

The Health Information division provides medical-related risk assessment information primarily to life and health insurance carriers while the Claims Evaluation division provides independent medical examinations and case management services for property and casualty insurers, claims handlers.
