Home Emergency Insurance Solutions (HEIS), a subsidiary of HomeServe USA, has signed an agreement with water utility Aqua America to provide its water line repair plans to around 19,000 customers of Aqua Virginia.
HomeServe USA CEO Tom Rusin said that the company is looking forward to expanding its service offerings to Aqua customers in Virginia.
Aqua Virginia president Shannon Becker noted that HomeServe has a 95% satisfaction rate with Aqua America customers in other states who have used the plan.
"Aqua Virginia partnered with HomeServe to give our customers the option to protect themselves from the financial strain and inconvenience of service line repairs," Becker added.
HEIS, which already offers sewer service plans, will initially offer water service line insurance plans for Aqua Virginia customers.
Apart from financial protection, policyholders will have access to a 24×7 service Repair Hotline.
HomeServe USA Corp (HomeServe) is an independent administrator of emergency repair service plans.
