HCC Insurance Holdings has promoted Daniel Strusz to the position of executive vice president of its subsidiary HCC Life Insurance Company. Mr Strusz will report to HCC Life's president and CEO Craig Kelbel.
In addition to serving as regional executive vice president of HCC Life, Mr Strusz has held a number of management positions with Allianz Life, National Benefits Resources, Fortis Benefits and Paul Burke and Associates.
Mr Strusz has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota.
Mr Kelbel said: In his new position, Dan Strusz will be responsible for managing HCC Life’s regional medical stop-loss offices in Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Texas, as well as its Healthcare Risk Management division and LifeTrac Network.
