US-based personal and commercial insurance firm, Harbour Insurance has completed the acquisition of Fidelity Insurance Associates as part of its plan to further expand its market.
The two companies will continue operations in their current location of Naples, Florida, and service surrounding areas including Bonita Springs, Marco Island, Fort Myers as well as other outlying areas.
Harbour Insurance owner Will Kastroll said the acquisition of Fidelity, which also has an existing line of commercial products for businesses of all sizes, will help expand the breadth and depth of the company’s insurance carrier relationships.
Fidelity president Scott Leamon will become the new vice president of Harbour Insurance under the terms of acquisition.
Kastroll said: "Scott has a long-term dedication to the Naples area as an agency owner, and will continue to stay on board with us as we continue to grow the agency."
Kastroll is also planning to acquire at least two additional agencies in 2012.
