The Hanover Insurance Group, a provider of property and casualty insurance, has expanded services within its management liability practice.

The new services include a partnership with Jackson Lewis, an employment practice and labor relations firm, and the addition of a team of management liability experts in the West.

Earlier this year, the company has unveiled a new suite of management liability solutions within the Hanover Profession Portfolio, including a specialty capability to protect private companies against a growing number of financial exposures.

According to Hanover, the arrangement with Jackson Lewis will enable the independent agent partners to provide value to clients who have employment practices liability coverage written with the company, by offering them access to Jackson Lewis’ network of around 600 labor and employment lawyers.

In addition, the new partnership provides EPL customers direct access to Jackson Lewis through a telephone hotline, customers will also gain access to Jackson Lewis bulletins online, reviewing trends and developments in labor and employment law in practical, straight-forward terms.

Helen Savaiano, president of management liability at Hanover Professional Portfolio, said: “We are very pleased to partner with Jackson Lewis to offer our agent partners one more way to provide differentiated value to customers and to be even more competitive in their markets. And, given the firm’s track record, we believe our policyholders will be able to significantly reduce their losses over time.”

The company said that it has also added a management liability practice in San Francisco to complement its teams in Chicago and Philadelphia.
