Hannover Re has appointed Klaus Miller as a full member of its executive board, who along with Wolf Becke will head the life and health reinsurance business group.
In his new role, Mr Miller will also be responsible for business enhancements for Northern and Central Europe regions. The scope of his board responsibility will also encompass growing business of longevity solutions and a number of cross-sectional tasks for Hannover Life Re.
Mr Miller began his professional career with Bayerische Ruckversicherung (Swiss Re Germany), rising to divisional manager for service in life and health business.
After serving as a managing director with Gerling-Konzern Globale Ruckversicherung, a member of the executive board with Revios and CRO at Scor Global Life, he joined Commerzbank in 2008.
