Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America, a North American life and health reinsurance subsidiary of Hannover Re Group, has launched new version of a web-based guide Ascent, which provides current information required for assessing risks.

The company said that the new web-based guide is designed to meet the needs of underwriters at all experience levels. It incorporates a wealth of supporting documentation, illustrations, considerations, and other tools while also making all ratings accessible in just two clicks if desired.

According to Hannover Life Re, the new version includes an enhanced security feature along with a new look and design. It continues to maintain the user-friendly, intuitive aspect of Ascent, while also adding additional functionality to the system. Users will also find an update to the medical sections, specifically the sections on prostrate and breast cancer.

Kevin Oldani, senior vice president and chief underwriter of Hannover Life Re, said: “We are excited about this new release and feel it demonstrates our continuing effort to have a state-of-the-art life underwriting manual.”
