GreenWood International Insurance Services (GWI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pan-American Insurance, has named Joseph Sullivan as its chief executive officer.

Sullivan will succeed Daniel Boisvert, who has stepped down after floating a new company, GW Global Insurance.

The new company will be headquartered in Massachusetts and will have a general agent contract with GWI and Pan-American Life Insurance.

Pan-American Life Insurance domestic markets senior vice president John Foley said the firm is very pleased to announce the change in responsibilities for Joe as GWI enters into a new phase of development within the Pan-American Life group of companies.

"In conjunction with the changes at GWI, we are equally pleased that we will have an exclusive marketing contract with Dan as his new company focuses on employee benefit solutions throughout the United States," Foley added.

GreenWood International was set up in 2000, which underwrites and administers numerous insurance products such as medical stop loss, personal accident, occupational accident, and primary employer’s indemnity insurance policies.
