To include a combined general and pollution liability insurance product
Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental division has launched a new product line – combined general and pollution liability insurance product.
The company claims that the product is meant to offer cost efficient solutions to industries with pollution exposure, that is not adequately addressed in their current general liability insurance program.
General liability coverage is now combined with a choice of pollution coverage in one integrated policy. Initially, Great American would target the following industry classes: Plastics manufacturing, Paints and Coatings manufacturers, Landfills and Treatment Facilities, Transfer Stations, Recycling Facilities, Warehouse and Storage Facilities, Cold Storage Warehouses, Truck Yards, Miscellaneous light manufacturing, Water and Wastewater treatment plants and Fabricated Metal Shops.
The new product launch is to be led by Kevin Troutman who brings over 20 years of casualty and environmental underwriting experience to the company.
