Great American Insurance, a subsidiary of Ohio-based American Financial Group, has extended its Legal Solutions Suite license with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) for an additional five years.
Great American Insurance uses CSC’s web-based Legal Solutions Suite to efficiently and cost-effectively manage its relationships with outside legal counsel.
CSC said that the Legal Solutions Suite simplifies the billing process, tracks outside counsel performance and promotes best practices in managing legal matters. It also provides a collaborative electronic workspace for budgeting, planning and strategy.
CSC property and casualty insurance division president Jeffery Schwalk said the Legal Solutions Suite can help insurance companies like Great American to gain greater control in managing legal expenses. In addition to creating measurable efficiencies, software and services also improve transparency and consistency in legal matter planning and execution through the bill review process.
