GlobalOptions has purchased total assets of SIU Compliance Solutions, which caters contract SIU programs and anti-fraud compliance services to the Insurance Industry across the US.
GlobalOptions president and CEO Frank Pinder said that the acquisition of SIU Compliance Solutions is the first step in a broader strategy to create value for its customers and shareholders by bringing companies who have exhibited operational excellence, sound financial management, and a wealth of knowledge into the GlobalOptions family.
"By combining the fraud compliance services provided by SIU Compliance Solutions with GlobalOptions’ extensive reach and capabilities in SIU and Fraud Investigations, we will further strengthen the turnkey SIU solutions we provide our customers," Pinder added.
"Many of the SIU Compliance Solutions customers have already begun the process of converting to the GlobalTrak technology platform, creating a streamlined investigation referral process, and robust reporting, including GlobalROI, which allows customers to calculate savings as associated with their fraud fighting efforts."
The acquirer said that the recent acquisition will strengthen its position in SIU, Surveillance and claims investigation services.
As per the terms of the deal, GlobalOptions has incorporated SIU regulatory compliance staff and customer service teams of SIU Compliance Solutions into its Major Accounts and SIU teams in Orlando, Florida, US.
