Government Employees Insurance Company’s (GEICO) has lowered the commercial auto insurance rates for business in Texas, US.
GEICO commercial lines director Kushwant Singh said the firm is pleased to be able to offer affordable commercial auto coverage for businesses in Texas.
"We are really well known for being the low-cost provider on our personal auto insurance coverage, but more and more business owners in Texas are discovering how much they can save with us on commercial auto policies," Singh said.
According to the insurance provider, its commercial insurance packages cover cars, trucks and vans used in conducting business, including for small businesses such as contractors, retailers, caterers, professional services and others.
The service offering in addition to providing protection for a variety of business vehicles, also includes general liability insurance and business owner’s policies through the GEICO Insurance Agency.
GEICO is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies and is the third-largest private passenger auto insurer in the US, which provides auto insurance coverage for 11 million private passenger auto policies and insures more than 17.5 million vehicles.
