Freedom Specialty Insurance Company has partnered with MGIS Underwriting Managers to offer medical-professional liability insurance, a specialized policy built for physicians.
Freedom said that its policy offers a range of coverage provisions for physician groups of all sizes and benefits from the backing of Nationwide, an insurance and financial service provider in the US.
In addition, the admitted policy will offer coverage on a claims-made basis with limits up to $1,000,000 per claim, $3,000,000 annual aggregate.
MGIS vice president of sales and marketing Joe Sadowy said that with Freedom Specialty, the company has crafted medical-professional liability insurance to effectively address and protect a physician’s reputation and assets.
