FirstBest Systems, a provider of insurance software solutions, has been selected by Beacon Mutual Insurance Company for its FirstBest Agent. The agent portal will provide Beacon Mutual with an enhanced ease of doing business with its independent agents through real-time collaboration and immediate production quotes.
According to FirstBest, once fully implemented, the new agent portal will be an integral part of Beacon Mutual’s BEACONNECT site, providing upload, supplemental questions, STP (Straight-Through Processing) quoting, and real-time collaboration and visibility into submission process for its 400 agents.
FirstBest Agent is a web 2.0 agent portal that allows agents to submit business, secure quotes and even bind. It is a complete portal for both new business and renewals, with dynamic supplemental data, shared documents, notes, instant alerts and mail notifications, and visibility into submission process at any time, for carriers and their agents.
In addition, agents get real-time quoting based on carrier-defined business rules, enhanced quality and volume of new submissions, time savings with automatic application form read/upload, and visibility into book of business. FirstBest Agent is offered as a stand-alone solution, or as part of FirstBest UMS.
