Fidelity National Financial, a provider of title insurance, mortgage services, specialty insurance and information services, has appointed current COO George Scanlon, as new CEO of the company.
Scanlon will succeed Alan Stinson, who will remain with the company as an executive vice president.
Stinson will focus on oversight and board membership for FNF’s portfolio companies, with an emphasis on accounting and finance activities, FNF investor relations and aiding in mergers and acquisitions activities and he will report to chairman Bill Foley.
