Bermuda-based P&C insurer Everest Re Group has promoted Dominic Addesso, executive vice president and chief financial officer, to new president of the firm.
The insurer said Addesso will also continue his role as chief financial officer till it finds the replacement.
Addesso joined Everest two years ago. Prior to this, he was president of regional markets for Munich Re America.
John Doucette has been promoted to chief underwriting officer for Worldwide Reinsurance. He joined Everest three years ago as executive vice president. His responsibilities have included managing the company’s US property, marine and aviation operations as well as overseeing enterprise risk management and actuarial pricing.
Prior to joining the company, Doucette was president of property & casualty reinsurance for Max Capital.
Doucette joined Everest three years ago was promoted from executive vice president, with responsibilities that included managing US property, marine and aviation operations, enterprise risk management and actuarial pricing.
