Esurance has licensed the CMS G2 Database Module to house their licensing data

Kaplan Compliance Solutions (KCS) has declared that Esurance, the direct to consumer personal auto insurance company, has migrated to the Compliance Management System Generation CMS G2 platform, KCS’ flagship compliance automation solution.

Esurance has licensed the CMS G2 Database Module (DBM) to house their licensing data. DBM is a database that manages securities and insurance compliance data in one centralised solution.

DBM offers the ability to view, track and manage data for carriers, firms, branches and registered individual representatives and producers. For Esurance, it will also manage the electronic submission of appointments and appointment terminations to the Departments of Insurance for processing.

The CMS G2 system gives Esurance agents read-only access to the database, providing 24/7 access to license information. Esurance plans to roll out this feature in early 2010. Moreover, the company will utilise the CMS G2 NIPR alerts to automatically update portions of their database, eliminating manual verification of license effective dates.
