The Empire Life Insurance (Empire Life), a subsidiary of E-L Financial, has appointed Daniel Dessureault as vice-president for retail insurance distribution.
Dessureault comes with 25 years of underwriting experience, and has held many key roles in different firms, while also has expertise of leading teams and dealing with various types of independent distribution channels coast to coast, the underwriter said.
In his new role, he will concentrate on increasing the profile of Empire Life insurance solutions and build relationships with key distribution partners across the country.
Empire Life Insurance executive vice-president retail Drew Wallace said, "Daniel’s keen understanding of our industry and strong relationships with many of our distribution partners will serve him well in his new role on our team."
