The Dutch life group Aegon is reportedly looking to roll out a major marketing campaign aimed at the UK investment community in an effort to increase its profile.

<p>IFA Online reports that a major advertising campaign is likely, targeting high profile locations such as rail stations, airports and taxis. Aegon bosses feel that there is a lack of awareness about the group pension administration skills the firm possesses.<br /><br />The IFA Online report also hints that the move may be linked to Aegon&#0039;s efforts to enter the bulk annuities market in the UK, an estimated GBP3.3 billion sector currently dominated by Prudential and Legal & General.</p>
