The Dutch life group Aegon is reportedly looking to roll out a major marketing campaign aimed at the UK investment community in an effort to increase its profile.
<p>IFA Online reports that a major advertising campaign is likely, targeting high profile locations such as rail stations, airports and taxis. Aegon bosses feel that there is a lack of awareness about the group pension administration skills the firm possesses.<br /><br />The IFA Online report also hints that the move may be linked to Aegon's efforts to enter the bulk annuities market in the UK, an estimated GBP3.3 billion sector currently dominated by Prudential and Legal & General.</p>
