Direct Line Italy, a direct auto insurer in Italy has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as the claims management platform to meet its operational and global customer service needs.

Direct Line Italy claims director Leonardo Martinelli said ClaimCenter will help Direct Line continue to maintain its levels of customer service, improving the efficiency of claims handling operations as well as the quality of customer communications.

Direct Line Italy information technology director Farhad Sabzevari said ClaimCenter is built on a modern technology platform and is fully compliant with their IT architecture and standards and is capable of easily integrating with other applications and services through several types of interfaces.

Guidewire ClaimCenter is an end-to-end claims management system designed to improve speed and accuracy, reduce loss adjustment expense, and enable proactive management of claims of today’s property/casualty insurers.

ClaimCenter’s flexible business rules enable claims organisations to define, enforce, and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices in order to optimise and monitor their claim processes.

As a standalone system or as part of Guidewire Insurance Suite, ClaimCenter can be integrated to an insurer’s legacy systems or third party applications.
