US based employee benefits-only agency Digital Insurance has purchased Brown Insurance Services of California for an undisclosed sum, in a move to enhance employee benefits client services.
After completion of the transaction, the acquired enterprise will trade under the brand name of Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), a division of Digital Insurance, thus becoming the company’s first office in Northern California.
Based on terms of the deal, Brown Insurance principal Kathy Brown and her staff will join DBA to deliver better offerings and support to their clients.
"Digital’s proprietary ancillary products, cutting edge technology and impressive scope of services significantly expand our capabilities, providing us with crucial industry intel and new tools to better serve our clients," Brown said.
Founded in 1990, Brown Insurance Services trades as a full-service benefits firm, and serves various small, mid-size and large employer groups, as well as individuals.
Digital Insurance specializes in medical insurance for small businesses and mid-sized companies.
