Digital Insurance, a Georgia-based employee benefits agency, has acquired Kellogg Smith, a Florida-based employee benefit consulting company.

Kellogg Smith, established in 1993, is a private company categorized under insurance agents brokers and service.

Kellogg Smith will now operate under the auspices Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), a division of Digital Insurance.

As part of the acquisition, agency principals, Katy Kellogg and Mike Smith, and their employees will join DBA, and continue to provide day-to-day service and benefit guidance to their employer groups in South Florida.

Digital Insurance executive vice president and chief marketing officer Mike Sullivan said that principals Katy Kellogg and Mike Smith provide clients a highly consultative approach to employee benefits that has engendered considerable success over the years.

"They are tremendous additions to our team and national presence; while Digital’s operational excellence will enhance the services they offer," added Sullivan.
