Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has signed a multi-year agreement with Symetra Life Insurance Company to license two software products to enhance management of distributor payment and performance tracking and to streamline processes in its annuities business.

Under the agreement, Symetra will deploy CSC’s PerformancePlus, a compensation management system, to measure and manage performance of its national network of distributors.

In addition, Symetra will also implement AWD, which will eliminate manual tracking systems and paper-based workflows in annuities processing. These applications will be integrated with CSC policy administration systems in use by Symetra.

According to CSC, its technology will enhance Symetra’s external and internal processes. It will help clients to manage workloads to enhance overall performance.

Troy Olson-Blair, CIO of Symetra, said: “As we expand our distributor relationships and product lines, we need technology that drives operational efficiencies and provides additional capacity for growth. This comprehensive agreement allows us to channel our resources toward platform integration and growth in functionality.”
