Crawford & Company Italia is in talks for the potential acquisition of Studio Bolton & Associati, a specialist liability adjusting and claims handling company.
Studio Bolton & Associati, with branches in Rome and Milan, Italy, focus on professional liability business. It has also a strong presence in the Lloyd’s and London market.
Crawford & Company Italia is a subsidiary of Crawford & Company, an independent provider of claims management solutions. In Italy, Crawford & Company is involved in handling claims in all insurance classes.
According to the Crawford & Company, the move to acquire Studio Bolton & Associati evidences is to further develop its liability claims capabilities and to reach across the international and domestic Italian markets to better serve its clients.
The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2011.
