Confie Seguros, a provider of auto insurance with an emphasis on serving Hispanic consumers, has acquired Cost-U-Less Insurance, a California-based provider of non-standard auto insurance.
Based in Sacramento, Cost-U-Less Insurance has been providing California drivers with low cost auto insurance options since 1989.
Norm Hudson, president of Cost-U-Less, will remain in that position and continue to oversee the company, said Confie Seguros.
Freeway Insurance CEO John Klaeb said that the two companies have highly complementary footprints in California.

Freeway Insurance is a California-based subsidiary of Confie Seguros.
