Combined Services, a general insurance agency, has entered into an exclusive long-term contract to offer Fort Dearborn Life Insurance Company's group and voluntary life and disability products in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Fort Dearborn has closed the earlier exclusive marketing arrangement with Combined Services, owned by Red Tree Holdings, effective 1 January 2011.

Fort Dearborn Life is a Dearborn National brand company. It offer insurance products that cover group benefits, worksite, and individual as well as value added services, with license in all 50 states.

Dearborn National president and CEO Anthony Trani said though the company no longer maintain an exclusive distribution arrangement, Combined Services will continue to be part of the strategic efforts to expand the business throughout the Northeast region.

Combined Services president and CEO Brian Francis said the new arrangement enables development of new distribution and administrative directions for the team.

Fort Dearborn Life’s parent company, Health Care Service, a Mutual Legal Reserve, is a non-investor owned health care insurance provider in the US.

Combined Services offers a full portfolio of employee benefits insurance products and administrative services throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
