Collegiate Underwriting has launched a new Professional Indemnity underwriting facility with Canopius, through its Syndicate 4444, replacing Hiscox Insurance Company.
The new deal will cover most UK based SME general and miscellaneous professions.
Ben Randall, who previously managed the Hiscox facility, will underwrite the general professions.
Randall said, "Working in partnership with Canopius will allow us to continue to offer clients across a broad spectrum of professions competitively priced policies with excellent coverage backed by Lloyd’s security."
Collegiate maintains a long-running facility with Canopius to underwrite IFAs.
Collegiate specializes in insuring small to medium sized firms which include: IFAs, surveyors, accountants, architects, design & construct, engineers, insurance brokers.
