Codan Group, a part of RSA Group, has awarded an application management contract to Patni Computer Systems for over three years.
Patni said that the seven-figure contract is to provide managed services around some of Scandinavia’s core insurance platforms.
Codan CIO Frank Andersen said that Patni is selected because of its in-depth understanding of the insurance sector and the applications that we use to run our business.
Patni EMEA president Derek Kemp said that the Codan chose Patni to provide managed services around some of its core applications and that it also sees us playing an important role in key transformation initiatives within the organization.
Codan offers general insurance products to both personal and commercial customers in Denmark, Sweden and Norway as well as marine insurance to commercial customers in Finland.
