CNinsure, an independent insurance agency and brokerage company operating in China, has announced that Fred Jin joined the company as vice president and CIO, effective immediately.
Prior to joining CNinsure, Mr Jin served as the department manager at New China Life Insurance, one of the leading life insurance companies in China. Previously Mr Jin was the assistant president and general manager of the Information Management Center of New China Life Insurance, primarily responsible for IT system construction and management. He also served as a sales manager and financial planner at US-based Prudential Financial Services, a global leader in diversified financial services. Mr Jin holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Warwick and a bachelor of law degree from Beijing Institute of Law & Diplomacy. He has received the credentials of Chartered Financial Consultant and Charted Life Underwriter from American College.
