Provides comprehensive coverages tailored to the insurance needs of electronic components distributors and their manufacturer-suppliers

CNA, a commercial insurance writer and provider of property and casualty insurance, has introduced commercial affiliation marketing (CAM) program, endorsed by the national electronic distributors association (NEDA). The program is expected to provide coverages tailored to the insurance needs of electronic components distributors and their manufacturer-suppliers.

The company claims that the appetite for new CAM includes businesses involved in the distribution and manufacturing of electronic components and parts, computer and computer peripheral components, including test, measurement and control equipment. In addition, CNA is also expected to provide risk control consultants and related services.

John Wurzler, vice president of technology segment at CNA, said: “Our partnership with NEDA enables us to remain abreast of current technology industry trends while developing customised insurance solutions to help customers better manage risks, defend against liabilities and protect company assets.”
